Homepreneurs Club: A Beacon of Support for Women Entrepreneurs

In a world brimming with corporate giants and massive companies, it's the dreams and aspirations of small businesses and passionate entrepreneurs that light up our lives.  These dreams usually begin as small ideas in people's hearts and grow into successful businesses and there exists a beacon of hope—a place where passionate entrepreneurs and aspiring small business owners find the support, guidance, and a nurturing community to help them thrive. Today, we embark on a journey that underscores the pivotal role of community, through the heartfelt testimony of one of our very own, Trija- Founder Artify Handicrafts.

Here is what Trija has to say…

“It has been a long time since I have been thinking of writing down a few words to appreciate Bilna, Anjum, and the whole team for the support they are giving to thriving small businesses and the community. It looks a bit long but I couldn't help as I wrote it personally.

My journey of entrepreneurship, like many of yours, started as a hobby and turned into a passion and then a business. When I started doing Diamond Painting (which is what my business is about), I had no idea that I would become so deeply connected to it that I would want to bring it more into the community and start a business. With a freelance license in Abu Dhabi, I started my home-based venture, relying on word of mouth and exhibitions to spread the word.

There was a moment of overwhelming uncertainty about how to promote my art form when one fine day, I came across HC through a random suggestion post on Instagram, maybe because my friend Suganya was already a member. The post and subsequent exploration of Bilna's page and website immediately made me follow HC. This was about a year ago. Over time, I followed their posts and social media accounts and was deeply touched by the support they provided to start-ups like mine. When the first meet-up in Abu Dhabi was organized, I joined HC as a paid member the very next day.

Joining HC has been one of the best decisions I have made for my business to date. As an engineer by profession and a full-time employee, my availability for online and offline meet-ups and discussions is limited, but I always make sure to watch all the exclusive recordings provided to us members. I can honestly say that every single video has helped me, in some way or another, to think and implement even the smallest changes that can improve myself and my venture.

Furthermore, through HC, I have had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people (special mention to Doaa (E-Boutik) & Pavitra (Enrich Ventures)) who have helped and supported me in many ways and continue to do so. I would also like to especially mention Ms. Rita Ji (Purple Swan), who has been my inspiration and the inspiration of many others, I believe. Her journey and growth over the years with Homepreneurs are remarkable and commendable. If you watch the club's recordings in chronological order, you can see her dedication, and it is very inspiring to many of us.

In HC, if you ask for anything, you will receive support from one member or another, and that's the unity in diversity in our HC.
